Chuck Hayes expected to have a sore left shoulder after an evening of banging with Clippers star forward Elton Brand. He was actually wrong.
Hayes said Wednesday night that his injured left shoulder felt surprisingly good after defending Brand.
“It held up good,” Hayes said. “It still might end up feeling a little sore, but it feels good right now.”
The Rockets forward missed the final three quarters against Milwaukee after straining the shoulder. He had an ice pack over his left shoulder after Wednesday’s game.
